🐹 My Desk Pet Stories 🐷

How I Got Layla

At school, we did the Wow Board wall for the first time! We put our Wow Board stickies on the wall, and then we spun the wheel to see who would get the bonus jackpot. 🎡

I was the one who got it! 🎉 My sticky was in the exact spot the wheel rolled to: FG. I won 30 bonus points, so I had 39 points in total, while everybody else had up to 10! 🤩

I spent 3 points on my Desk Pet Habitat with a golden floor ✨. I forgot how much I spent on food and accessories. Then I adopted a hamster named Layla and spent 8 points on her! 🐹💛

Her foods were a grape 🍇, an apple 🍎, and a strawberry 🍓, and her accessories were a piano 🎹 and a sleeping mask 😴.

Layla couldn't wait for her first day of daycare! 🏫

Layla's First Day of Daycare

On the first day of Desk Pet Daycare, I got a sheet that I'm supposed to bring when I check out Layla. I get a sticker every time I remember to pick her up! There are 25 spots in total, and when the sheet is filled, you get a prize! 🎁

Here's how Desk Pet Daycare works: you drop your pet off at the daycare, and the shelter manager puts them in a spot. Desk Pet Daycare is actually a LEGO set on a table with lots of fun places for the shelter manager to put your pet! 🧱

I've grounded Layla at least 5 times by now, because she keeps sleeping at daycare with her sleeping mask 😴 and being a little cheeky! 😜

I love Layla! 💛

Layla's Worst Breakdown

One day, when I was working on something, someone bumped into my Desk Pet Habitat and made it fall down, with sick Layla inside! 😱

If she wasn't sick, she could've gone to daycare and been safe. But she was sick, and now she was hurt everywhere from falling about a million times, and she caught the flu! 🤧🩹

Luckily, she healed and got better! 💪

A few days after Layla's recovery, she gobbled down some grapes and choked! 🍇😵 Luckily, she swallowed some more food, and the grapes got into her tummy safely. Phew! 😮‍💨

Layla's Lonely Birthday

It was Layla's birthday on October 9th! 🎂 When Layla was home from school, she was feeling lonely because she didn't have any siblings. 🥺

Then I told her she was getting a sister on Friday, and she was SO happy and excited! 🤩💕

Then came the bad news: the class shop was closed! 😱 That meant Layla had to wait until Monday, and she was very sad. 😢

Find out who her sister will be in the next story! 👀✨

Layla's Halloween with Starlight

Halloween is almost here, and Layla wanted to dress up for Halloween! 🎃

One of my BFFs, Clara, has a desk pet too: a narwhal named Starlight! 🦄🌊 Starlight is Layla's best friend, and they were both dressing up for Halloween. 💕

Layla's gonna be a zombie ghost 🧟👻, and Starlight's probably gonna be a normal ghost or a mummy! 👻

Layla couldn't wait to get her new buddy. She thought she would get it soon, because I told her we only had four or five more spots on the Wow Board! 🗂️ Layla was SO excited. She filled up her report card to get her new buddy! 📋✨

I said her twin was probably going to be named Lina. 💕

Stay tuned for Layla's new best buddy! Maybe she'll be here in time for Halloween, to go trick-or-treating at Desk Pet Daycare with Layla and Starlight! 🍬

Happy Halloween! 🎃👻

Layla's New Stuff

We did the Wow Board wall for the second round! 🎡 I didn't get the jackpot this time. My classmate William got it! 🎉

Then it was time for the class shop, and Layla got lots of new stuff: 🛍️

🎺 a trumpet
🎸 a pink guitar with purple strings
🍌 a banana
🐱 a cat-ear adventure hat
🍪 a sprinkle cookie with light pink frosting under the sprinkles
🍟 french fries

Plus all the stuff she already had! The food is even bigger than Layla! 😂

And I gave my hat to Clara in exchange for the cookie! 🐱🔁🍪
