Dr. King believed all people are equal and should be treated with kindness. He led peaceful marches and asked everyone to be fair to one another.

I Have a Dream

In 1963 he told a huge crowd about his dream that children of every colour would grow up as friends. His hopeful words gave courage to millions.

Like Gandhi, Dr. King never used violence. He showed that love and peaceful protest can be stronger than anger.
