๐Ÿฆ• Mighty Dinosaurs ๐Ÿฆ–

Long, LONG ago โ€” way before people โ€” giant dinosaurs stomped all over the Earth! Some were taller than a house, some were faster than a car. Come meet the mightiest dinos of all! ๐Ÿฆด

Roar!

๐Ÿ‘‹ What Were Dinosaurs?

Dinosaurs were amazing reptiles that lived on Earth a very long time ago โ€” millions and millions of years before any human was born! Some ate only plants (we call them herbivores), and some ate meat (carnivores). They came in every size โ€” from tiny ones the size of a chicken ๐Ÿ” to giants longer than three school buses! ๐ŸšŒ๐ŸšŒ๐ŸšŒ We know about them today because scientists called paleontologists dig up their bones, called fossils. ๐Ÿฆด

๐Ÿ’ก Amazing Dino Facts

The big mystery

โ˜„๏ธ What Happened to Them?

About 66 million years ago, the dinosaurs disappeared. Most scientists think a giant space rock called an asteroid โ˜„๏ธ crashed into the Earth. It threw up so much dust that it blocked the sun, the plants couldn't grow, and the big dinosaurs couldn't find enough food. ๐ŸŒ‘

But here's the happy part: not ALL of them vanished! The small feathery ones survived and slowly, over millions of years, became the birds we see flying around today. So every time you see a bird, you're looking at a real, living dinosaur! ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ’›
