Namaste!

๐Ÿ‘‹ Welcome to India

India is a huge country far across the ocean, with more than 1.45 billion people โ€” that's the most of any country in the whole world! It has 28 states, and each one can have its own food, clothing, and even its own language. People in India speak many different languages โ€” hundreds of them! My parents grew up in India before they moved to America, so it's a very special place to my family. ๐Ÿ’›

๐Ÿช How to Draw a Camel

A camel in the desert โ€” crayon drawing by Aahana, used as the drawing example
  1. Draw the body: make a big oval in the middle of your page โ€” that's the camel's tummy.
  2. Add the hump: draw a bump on top of the body. (Some camels have one hump, some have two!)
  3. Make the neck and head: draw a curvy neck going up, with a small head and two little ears.
  4. Add four long legs: camels have tall legs for walking in the hot sand.
  5. Draw the face: two friendly eyes, a smiley mouth, and a swishy little tail.
  6. Color it in: golden-brown for the camel, blue sky, a bright sun, and green desert bushes โ€” just like mine!
๐ŸŽจ Aahana's tip: Don't worry about making it perfect! Crayons and oil pastels are great for blending colors. The most fun camels are the ones that look like YOURS. ๐Ÿ’›
